Adjacent cause; adjacent flaws
Consequences adjacent; flaws adjacent
They do not spell out a name
They don't form a recognizable name
Nor the boundaries you claim
Nor the limits you assert
When you feel you fit the frame
When you believe you conform to the predefined framework
Crown the depths
Celebrate the profound depths
Unsteep your guilt and your unrest
Unburden yourself from guilt and inner turmoil
Reach around that remembrance, still
Navigate around that recollection, yet hold onto it
Hold me down until I do not speak anymore, and let it go
Restrain me until I fall silent, and release it
Do we brace until it breaks us in at last?
Do we endure until it ultimately overpowers us?
You are the daydream that I dread
You are the pleasant imagination that I fear
Why is it harder to leave than to stave you off?
Why is it more challenging to depart than to resist you?
Are you learning how it reads from far away?
Are you comprehending its meaning from a distant perspective?
They won't love you for your grief
