I live inside a world of my design
I have created my own world and live within it.
I wouldn't think of living any other way
I prefer my unique way of living over any other.
At least I know that what I have is mine
I acknowledge that what I possess is truly mine.
No matter how you try to take it

Sometimes I feel confused
There are times when I experience bewilderment.
Rejected and refused
Feeling unwanted and denied at times.
But still I choose to be
Despite challenges, I actively choose to remain in this state.
Isolated
Embracing isolation as a personal choice.
I'd rather live my life by my own rules
I prefer living according to my own principles.
Than buy into the lie that I should play along
I reject conforming to societal expectations.
I reinvent myself at risk of ridicule
I risk being ridiculed to reinvent myself as I see fit.
Still is my life and I will live it
Despite challenges, I affirm my right to live life on my terms.
Sometimes I feel confused
Periodically experiencing uncertainty.
Rejected and refused
Facing rejection and denial.
But I still choose to be
Despite difficulties, I consciously choose isolation.
Isolated
Continuing to embrace a solitary existence.
Would you even care?
Questioning if others would care about me.
If I wasn't who I was and
If I were different from what is expected.
I was what you wanted me to be
Considering whether conformity would matter to others.
Oh! This is my life
Asserting that this is my life, not subject to external control.
Not your life
Affirming the ownership and autonomy of my own life.
