Overcoming challenges and aiming for growth toward the sun.
Stygian light winks through the clouds
Gloomy or dark light piercing through clouds.
Retched into this heart of mine
Profound pain or sorrow felt deeply within.
Shines onto my life from nothingness
Positive influence shining onto life from nothingness.
And I ravished the rays of sunshine
Taking pleasure in the positive aspects of life.
Unfinished we participate in the run of life, our inner strife
Life is a continuous struggle with internal conflicts.
Hidden inside us the need to end, to end our pain
An internal urge to bring an end to pain.
One with nature, spoiled, without a zest for life
Being one with nature but lacking enthusiasm for life.
Sparkling bodies embraced by ebony nights
Bodies shining in the darkness of the night.
Sometimes all our words are inadequate for the burden of our hearts
Words sometimes fail to express the heaviness of our hearts.
Once ashes we will be and still the hunger for a new life
Eventually becoming ashes, yet the desire for a new life persists.
Or a soon coming death
Contemplating the possibility of imminent death.
And the dust we will crumble to will be the companion
Our remains will turn to dust, a companion to the winds.
Of the four winds wailing over our souls
The winds mourn over our souls.
The ashes still the hunger of a new coming death
Ashes still carry the longing for a new death.
The dust is the companion of the four winds from our hearts
Dust accompanies the winds emanating from our hearts.
