The outside world flows through these fences

They let out more than they take in

They bleed me out and I can’t staunch them
The external influences drain and affect me, and I can't stop or control them.
My mouth lets out more than it takes in
My expressions or words surpass what I take in, leading me in unintended directions.
It leads me out and I can’t help it
Verbal expression guides me, and I can't resist its influence.
It is nothing but a muscle flexed
Life is a display of strength, perhaps implying a struggle or competition.
A swirling sea of now and next
Life is a dynamic, ever-changing sequence of present and future moments.
And the world was upside down, inside out
A period of confusion or disorientation, where everything seems inverted and chaotic.
This whole time
A realization that the perception of reality has been distorted.
Going the wrong way, north was inverted
Heading in the wrong direction, with cardinal points reversed.
The directions, the plan, got me turned around
Misalignment with plans and directions, feeling lost despite being on the right path.
I was on the right path, but couldn’t feel the ground
Being on the correct path but unable to connect with or understand the experience.
And so started the test, retracing all the steps
Initiation of a process of introspection and retracing steps to understand where things went wrong.
When was the first strike, which dances were learned
Examining the origins of challenges, recalling when difficulties began and what was learned.
In an ever-changing suit re-tailored with patches
Life is constantly reshaped, with experiences stitched together like a suit with patches.
Of a life blind and careless, popping stitches
A life lived without attention, resulting in mistakes or consequences (popping stitches).
Un-being, un-happening, becoming untangled
Process of disentanglement from negative experiences, undoing past events.
Dulling the edges, and scaling transitions
Reducing intensity and navigating transitions, making life smoother.
Faith is a pattern composed by the wind
Faith is a complex, natural pattern influenced by the unpredictable nature of life (wind).
All movement, one movement, it reaches everything
All actions are interconnected, reaching everything in existence.
And the real work is to be it, believe it
True work involves embodying and believing in the essence of life.
With each new set of eyes and the visions they provide
Seeing life through different perspectives, gaining insights from diverse experiences.
Be the taste, the warmth, the measure and the glow
Being the essence of various aspects of life and embracing them, then letting go of attachments.
By embracing it all and then letting it all go
The essence of life is in embracing and releasing, with no definitive endpoint.
The real work is never done, and has no clear beginning
Continuous, ongoing work with no clear starting point, no discernible outcomes, and no sense of winning or losing.
And shows no result, no losing, no winning
Emphasizing the endless and uncertain nature of the real work in life.
