A promise of hidden troubles or challenges lies beneath the surface.

Initially, I wanted to be the source of your happiness.

The anticipated improvement after a difficult period did not occur.

So I found it in my own frame
Instead of waiting, I found solace within my own understanding or perspective.
I gave myself what you couldn't change
I provided myself with what you were unable to change or offer.
So now I choose to be my favorite high
Now, I actively choose to be the source of my own happiness.
