Book on Wild Horses
Wild Horses Whispers: A Tale of Chance Encounters and Fleeting MomentsLyrics
Girl on a park bench
Girl sitting on a park bench
In a part of town she's never been
In an unfamiliar part of town
Casually leafing through a book on wild horses
Casually reading a book on wild horses
When a man sees her reading
A man notices her reading
He says, “hello, may I ask what you're reading?”
He greets her and inquires about the book
& she says, “it's a book on wild horses,
She explains it's from a thrift store
from the thrift store on the avenue.
Asks how he can help
Now tell me, how can I help you?”
She questions him in return
& he says “I couldn't help but notice the sun through the trees,
He admires the sunlight and her radiance
how it makes you glow,
Comments on how she glows in the sunlight
so I was wondering if I could, if I should,
Expresses interest in knowing her name
ask you your name?”
Ponders if he should ask for her name
& she says, “sorry I don't think so...
She declines, apologizes, and suggests another time
but I appreciate the gesture,
Expresses gratitude but turns down the offer
maybe another time?”
Suggests a possibility for another meeting
Then she offers a smile
She smiles
& he returns a frown
He responds with a frown
“cnother time, maybe,” he says
He acknowledges the potential for another time
& she turns her attention back
She returns to her book, redirecting attention
To her book on wild horses
Continues reading about wild horses
cs she thinks about the world
Reflects on the world and its transience
& how fleeting it seems to be
Contemplates the fleeting nature of the world
