I sit at your grave

But it's just not the same

I can't talk to you
Inability to communicate directly with the departed.
But I can talk to Him
Turning to communication with a higher power (Him) instead.
So here are all the things

I wish I could say
Sharing the things one wishes they could say to the departed.
God can you tell her I miss her

And life without her ain't the same

Requesting God to convey the joy of singing for His glory.
For your glory and it feels so great
Linking the act of singing to the departed's desires.
I know that's what she'd want me to do
Acknowledging that honoring the departed involves praising God.
All my life is to praise you
