I never would take a chance to fool with romance I guess I'm used to being alone
Avoiding romantic involvement, accustomed to a solitary existence.
Nobody wants a drifter so I'll keep moving on
Recognizing that being a wanderer or drifter is not appealing to others.
There's nothin' to tie me down when I wanna leave town
Not being tied down by commitments, free to leave a place whenever I choose.
Nobody's gonna miss me when I'm gone
Believing that my absence will go unnoticed when I depart.
