My Way Out
Navigating Freedom: My Way Out with Tunnel VisionLyrics
I saw the east side today
I observed the eastern part of a place today.
I've been an ocean slave for so long
I've been constrained or controlled by the ocean for a long time.
There's something that I can't resist
There's something compelling that I can't resist.
Something in the ocean mist
There's an allure or attraction in the mist of the ocean.
Living anywhere else would be wrong
Living anywhere else would feel incorrect or unnatural.
I've added it up
I've calculated or summed things up.
I can't get enough
I am unable to obtain sufficient amounts.
I've learned to say
I've learned to express or articulate.
I've been playing it tough
I've been resilient or tough in my actions.
There's plenty to see
There's a lot to witness or experience.
Optimistically Optimistically
Optimistically, with hope or positivity.
I saw some grinders out the back
I noticed some machinery or equipment at the rear.
Perfect little six foot shacks
Perfect small houses of six feet.
Plenty of lip to crack
Plenty of opportunities or situations to handle or deal with.
But we're gonna break out
But we are determined to break free.
And see what's outside our front door
And explore what lies beyond our familiar surroundings.
Not coming back
Not returning until we discover what we seek.
Until we found what we're looking for
Until we find the exact thing we are searching for.
Found what we're looking for
Until we find precisely what we're seeking.
And we'll meet back here again
And then we will reunite at this place.
Till' time rolls over the end
Until time reaches its conclusion.
And we'll die in our home town
And we'll perish in our hometown.
Know I found, know I found
I acknowledge that I have found something.
And we'll meet back here again
And we'll reunite at this place.
Till' time rolls over the end
Until time reaches its conclusion.
And we'll die in our home town
And we'll perish in our hometown.
Know I found, know I found
I acknowledge that I have found something.
My way out
I've found my way to escape or liberation.
I saw some smoke coming out the stacks
I noticed some indication of activity from industrial chimneys.
Not another soul around
No other person present in the vicinity.
The ocean perfect like glass
The ocean appeared calm and smooth like glass.
But that's not gonna stop us no
However, that won't hinder us from venturing beyond safety.
From leaving the safety of the shore
From departing from the secure area of the coastline.
Not coming back
Not returning until we discover what we seek.
Until we found what we're looking for
Until we find the exact thing we are searching for.
Found what we're looking for
Until we find precisely what we're seeking.
