The words they came but now they’re gone

They come to me inside my dreams

Flowing melodies like streams

Chasing songs in the twilight

That time that only happens late at night

When our garding conscious slips away

And our true thoughts they come out to play
Authentic thoughts surface and become evident.
My dreams they carry me away

To quiet corners where old guitars they play

My depression becomes a melody

A clear mind some needed clemency
A plea for clarity and mercy in a troubled state of mind.
Chasing songs in the twilight
Continuing the pursuit of songs during the evening.
That time that only happens late at night

When our garding conscious slips away
When inhibitions or guardedness fade away.
And our true thoughts they come out to play
Authentic thoughts are given freedom to manifest.
Lord won’t you send me a song
A request directed towards a higher power for musical inspiration.
Make it blessed and please do sing along
Seeking divine involvement in the creation of the song.

Make it blessed and please do sing along
Asking for the divine presence to join in singing the song.
