Feeling as if death (the reaper) is close, singing along with its imminent arrival.

Having experienced hardship and weariness, feeling the physical pain from these experiences.
Tied up like a harlot while they're throwing their stones
Feeling judged and condemned by others, likened to being tied up and stoned.
Fear's just a souvenir you take when you go, no bigger lie you believe in
Fear is something people hold onto, even though it's not real or substantial.
Caught me a silver tongue by the noose and a throe
Feeling trapped or caught by smooth talk and a struggle (noose and throe).
Hell never bid my stay now it;s calling me home
Despite feeling called towards a negative fate (Hell), it's not yet the time to stay there.
Heaven's got a place for the wayward sons but they never heard my name at the gates
Believing that despite one's waywardness, they aren't recognized or acknowledged in Heaven.
I could recite my sins till they're burning my lungs i know i'll pay that wage below or above

There's a debt to settle and a feeling of being tainted by something sinful, perhaps equal to Belial (a biblical figure).

Being born into deceit or falsehood, inheriting a cold, unfeeling nature.

Being aware of one's life choices and the inevitability of death but asserting ownership over personal experiences.
