This journey I embark on is not for my personal discovery.

I pray to God, seeking His guidance as my spiritual guide.

In times of uncertainty, I call upon Him, confident that He will lead me.
I put my pen onto the paper, my passion, it takes the pain away
Expressing my emotions through writing helps alleviate my pain.

I gave it all to Him, I've seen improvement in a major way
I've dedicated everything to God, witnessing positive changes in a significant manner.
I'm never looking back 'cause He got me, I think it's safe to say
I'm not dwelling on the past because God protects me; it's safe to move forward.
Was never at my best, until my Father I invested
I reached my best state when I invested in a relationship with my Heavenly Father.
Was giving Him excuses, He was giving me His blessings
Instead of offering excuses, I received blessings from God.
Messed up a couple things, but He would turn them into lessons
Mistakes turned into valuable lessons through His intervention.
My confidence is top tier, I say it with my chest
Confidently declaring that my self-assurance is of the highest level.
That I am never at my best until I put my pride to rest
I acknowledge that my true potential surfaces when I let go of pride.
Thank the Lord for all He's done, and give Him praise in my success
Grateful to God for achievements, expressing praise during success.
He done wiped away my sin, as well as took away my stress
God has forgiven my sins and relieved me of stress.
So when I'm living like a champion, I ain't lucky, man I'm blessed
Feeling blessed, not merely lucky, when living like a champion.

Reaffirming the reliance on God to lead me.
I sent my prayers up to Jesus, my Father will take the pain away
Sending prayers to Jesus, seeking relief from pain through my Heavenly Father.
He's been balling, Durant, but He'll never fade away
Comparing God's enduring influence to Durant's permanence in basketball.
I gave it all to Him, now He's changing me in a major way
Having surrendered everything to God, experiencing transformative change.
My past can't not define me, He saved me, I think it's safe to say
My past doesn't define me; God's intervention has saved me.
I used to like to flex about the things that I possessed
Acknowledging a shift from materialistic boasting to a focus on spiritual matters.
But I was worried 'bout my future, not knowing what happens next
Prior concerns about the future gave way to trust in God's plan.
Then I went to take a step into victory when I knelt
Stepping into victory by prioritizing God over self-focus.
I was focused all on me, now my Father can have the rest
Shifting the focus from personal pursuits to allowing God to take control.
When my life was at its lowest, I thought there was no one there
In moments of despair, realizing that God is present, contrary to initial beliefs.
When I tried to give a call, I was assuming that no one cared
Despite assuming no one cared, fixing attention on God brought solace.
I fixed my eyes upon the Lord, and the Lord is always prepared
Directing focus towards the Lord, recognizing His perpetual preparedness.
Though I'm feeling like I'm lost, I know my Father, He gon' take me there
In times of feeling lost, trusting that God will guide me to the right path.
