Criticizing indifference as misleading or false.
I waste my breath as empathy dies
Frustration at futile attempts to empathize.
If I gave you my tongue would you hear my words?
Pondering whether giving one's voice would make a difference.
Because everything I say seems to go unheard
Expressing frustration at being consistently ignored.
If I gave you my lungs would you waste your own breath?
Questioning the value of sharing one's breath with others.
Or use it to feed the very minds I detest
