Now babies grew to children as babies will do

They added four more to the original two

They had a half a dozen little mouths to feed

Daddy said that poor girl must be going out of her mind

They had to work hard just to make ends meet

But they always had shoes and plenty to eat
Despite challenges, they have basic necessities.
So much love in that little bitty house
The small house is filled with love.
Nobody thought that they were doing without
Despite hardships, nobody perceives they lack anything.
Daddy said I say a little prayer for them every night

Well the years went by so happily
Years pass happily, sister fulfills her role as a mother.
Sister was a momma like she wanted to be

Making home for her husband and her family
Sister creates a home for her husband and family.
With the babies bouncing on their Paw Paw?s knee
Babies enjoy their time with Paw Paw (grandfather).
