But I don’t know how much longer
I am uncertain how much longer I can maintain hope.

But instead I’m just a weary heart
Feeling weary instead of having a resilient heart.

Acknowledging the belief that God's hand can calm powerful forces.
But can You calm the storm in me
Questioning whether God can bring calmness to the storm within.

When you’re waitin’ on a miracle
Expressing the challenging nature of waiting for a miracle.
And my soul longs for the day
Longing for the day when the answer to prayer is revealed.
When I see the answer to the prayer I’ve prayed
Anxiously awaiting the resolution of the prayed-for miracle.
And it’ll all be worth the wait
Believing that the wait will be worthwhile in the end.
