Lyrics

I'm writing,  this song tonight

I am currently composing this song.

To get you off my mind

The purpose is to remove thoughts of you from my mind.

To get you outta my life

I want to eliminate you from my life.

Cause I'm burned out

I am emotionally exhausted.

Writing love songs you don’t care about

I've written love songs that you seem indifferent to.

So I'ma sit right here, till a good idea

I'll wait until I have a good idea for a new song.

Comes through

Waiting for inspiration.

One that ain't about you

Looking for a topic that doesn't involve you.

I ain't gonna write about your long brown hair

How your lips they taste like whiskey

Describing physical attributes and taste associated with you.

And how I wish you'd miss me

Expressing a desire for you to miss me.

Ain't gonna write bout' how sorry I am
