Lyrics
Feeling to no one
Feeling isolated or disconnected from everyone.
Servant to this disease
Being controlled or subservient to a destructive force or condition.
No innocent victims
There are no blameless individuals; everyone is affected.
No symbol of purity
There's no emblematic representation of purity or innocence.
We worship the black sun
Engaging in reverence or adoration of something dark or negative.
I keep it locked a way
Keeping a dark aspect of oneself hidden or suppressed.
It cannot be undone
Actions or consequences that cannot be reversed or undone.
Separate realities
Existence of distinct and separate versions of reality.
Spiritual decay lost in this facade
Deterioration of spiritual well-being concealed by a false front.
Would you give your flesh away?
Are you willing to sacrifice yourself?
When you stand before your god?
When facing judgment or reckoning.
As I try to imitate, it all just falls apart
Attempts to mimic or replicate, but everything falls apart.
Excommunicate to the corners of my heart
Being excluded or banished internally.
Can you see through me?
Questioning if others can perceive one's true self.
Spreading so thin, slowly we rot away
Gradually deteriorating and wasting away.
Carelessly awaken another golden dawn
Carelessly initiating a new start or phase.
Finally forsaken away from everyone
Ultimately abandoned or deserted by everyone.
Blinded by your hate, I curse the sky above
Blinded by intense hatred, cursing everything above.
As I pass the final gate
Passing through a final threshold or barrier.
In the shadow of your love
In the obscured presence of a destructive or consuming love.
If you could see me, under the skin
If others could perceive one's internal struggles or reality.
Slowly we rot away
Gradual decay or deterioration.
No one gets out free
No one escapes unscathed from the situation or condition.
The door is open. Hear the lair's tongue?
Opportunity is available, but the true intention is unspoken.
But the words were never spoken
Despite the opportunity, communication or disclosure doesn't occur.
And fire fills my lungs
Intense emotional turmoil, feeling suffocated.
Calling out to no one
Reaching out or seeking help to no avail.
So, just enjoy pain
Suggesting embracing suffering or finding pleasure in it.
Can we call ourselves the victims?
Questioning if one can consider themselves victims in a repeated cycle of actions.
When we do it all again?
Repeating the same actions despite the knowledge of their consequences.
If you could see me, under the skin
(Repeated from line 27) If others could perceive one's internal struggles or reality.
Slowly we rot away
(Repeated from line 28) Gradual decay or deterioration.
