Washed up in time
Being carried away by time
Swept out to sea
Metaphorically taken away by the vastness of life
Open to defeat by its shores
Vulnerable to defeat and challenges presented by life's experiences
My first breathe of air
Symbolizing the beginning of life
Pries my eyes so I can see
Opening one's eyes to the reality of existence
What’s breeding within me
Exploring and acknowledging inner thoughts and emotions
Now it’s free
Liberation or release of something within oneself
I can breath
Expressing the ability to breathe freely
Opened mentally
Becoming mentally open or aware
Faced with deceit
Facing dishonesty or betrayal
I can breath in ecstasy
Breathing in a state of intense joy or pleasure

Seeming too effortless or simple

Now I’ve been torn

Smiles shall be no more
Losing the ability to smile or find joy
Left out to ignore
Being deliberately overlooked or disregarded
Life will fade no more
Assurance that life will not diminish or vanish
This will never end
