Uncertainty about expressing emotions without understanding them.
If I'll feel loving
Unsure whether I will experience affection or melancholy.
Or if I'll feel low
There's a possibility of getting involved in trouble.
I may wind up and get into trouble
Knowing that you've been bad
Awareness of your wrongdoing causing distress.
Is one of the worst feelings I ever had
Knowing about your misdeeds is deeply distressing.
Knowing that you been bad
Did it mean much to you?
Questioning the significance of your wrongdoing to you.
I thought I knew you
Previously feeling familiar or acquainted with you.
Now I wish I had
Regretting not knowing you better in hindsight.
I'll be coming round this corner
I will return to this spot in the future.
One day real slow
Slowly and gradually approaching this place.
And I'll see myself reflected
Seeing a reflection of myself in someone from my past.
In someone I used to know
Recognizing a similarity with someone I used to know.
And I may look away
I might avoid confronting this reflection.
And keep going home
Choosing to continue towards home, ignoring it.
And try to forget it before
Attempting to forget the reflection before reaching home.
I get to the door
Aiming to forget before entering the door.
But how can I say
When I don't know

Why do they call it the past
Ruminating on why past events are termed as "past" when they seem current.
When nothing has passed?
Contemplating the lack of closure or resolution despite time passing.
Comment
