Head to the beach to find some waves

A little but it's offshore
There's a small amount of waves, but the wind is blowing from the land towards the sea.
I hit the water unaware of the ground
Entering the water without noticing the ocean floor.
Peak to myself there's no one around
Being at the peak of a wave alone without others nearby.
I got a tube into the beach
Successfully riding a wave to the shore.
I lost my board and it's just out of reach
Accidentally losing the surfboard just out of arm's reach.
I got a feeling and it's under my foot
Sensing something underfoot while in the water.
I might get hit if I stay put
Realizing the potential danger of staying in one place.
I quickly shuffle out of the way

I felt it hit and I let out a Yelp
Feeling a sudden impact and expressing pain with a yell.
I waved some lifeguards cuz I need help
Signaling for assistance from lifeguards due to the injury.
The pain is crawling up my side
Experiencing pain spreading along the body.
All I wanted was a long hard ride
Expressing the desire for a good, uninterrupted surfing session.
Now I'm in hot water
