The masses recruited
Citizens are enlisted or gathered.
The zombies unite
Zombies, metaphorically referring to the masses, come together.
What once was secluded
What was once private is now exposed to the public.
Is now in the light
While demanding freedom, rights are being taken away.
While screaming for freedom
A call for freedom accompanied by the loss of rights.
They take every right
The masses relinquish their rights unknowingly.
But it's white
Highlighting the racial aspect, suggesting acceptance due to the color white.
So it's alright
Acceptance of the situation because of the racial factor.
Binge and purge the information forced
Overwhelmed by forced information consumption.
You've been eaten alive by the light in your eyes
Consumed by the intense light in your eyes, metaphorically losing oneself.
Now submersed
Now fully immersed or submerged in the situation.
Fear only things that you can't see
Fear only the invisible, unseen threats.
But ignore the cries while you let the lies convince you
Ignoring pleas while embracing deceiving information.
That you're free
False belief in freedom despite being manipulated.
Open
Open-mindedness or a call to be open to the truth.
Take it in
An invitation to absorb and understand.
You need to help me decide
A plea for assistance in making decisions.
Who do I hate tonight
Contemplating whom to despise in the present moment.
I've sat here watching for all this time
Observing passively for an extended period.
But I will not sit idle and watch our demise
Refusing to passively witness the downfall, determined to act.
I'm sick of screaming, I'm sick of this life
Frustration with continuous protests or complaints.
And it's time that I stop being
Deciding to no longer be overly compassionate.
So damn kind
A call for a collective awakening.
It's time for us to rise
Expressing the urgency for societal improvement.
If we only knew what was awaiting us above and coming to stay
If only we knew the impending threats from above.
They were our creators the ones who had made us who we are now we have failed
The creators, disappointed in what humanity has become.
Experiment has ended what they gave to us they have vowed to strip it away
An experiment concludes, and what was given is taken away.

The gradual stripping away of everything.
There's nothing left
