Humanity grew weary
Humanity has become tired and fatigued.
Of it's doubtful state of mind
People are uncertain and troubled in their state of mind.
So it summoned from far and near
In response, humanity called upon individuals considered wise from various places.
All the wise men thought to be sincere
These wise men were believed to be sincere in their intentions.
To heal it's wounds and make it whole
The purpose was to heal the wounds of humanity and restore it to completeness.
And lead the way back to the soul
These wise men aimed to guide humanity back to its spiritual essence.
The charlatans they stayed behind
Charlatans, or frauds, chose to stay behind, focused on accumulating wealth.
To count their bags of gold
They were more concerned with counting their riches than genuine spiritual concerns.
And some stayed away as if to say
Some individuals distanced themselves, asserting that their path was the only correct one.
I know that my way's the only way
Out of fear, they refused to consider the possibility of being wrong.
Afraid to learn they may be wrong
They persist in preaching their empty beliefs without openness to learning.
They preach their nothingness at home
These false teachings are propagated within their own communities.
But the wise men came together with the hope to free mankind
True wise men gathered with the intention of liberating humanity.
Of the rubbish that had gathered in god's name
They sought to eliminate the false and harmful beliefs associated with God's name.
To embrace and trust each other in the search for the supreme
Their aim was to foster trust and unity in the pursuit of a higher truth.
And they found that all their teachings were the same
Ultimately, they discovered that their teachings were fundamentally the same.
And when at last the word went round
Word spread that everyone is interconnected and unified.
That all were one and all
Many individuals returned to seek spiritual enlightenment.
Many returned to seek the light
No one claimed exclusive correctness; there was openness to diverse perspectives.
Nobody claimed that he was right
The acknowledgment that one may not have all the answers.
It's sad to know it's just a song
Recognizing that the realization is just a song, possibly acknowledging the limitations of words.
To dream and hope still can't be wrong
Despite skepticism, dreaming and hoping are still considered valuable and not inherently wrong.
