Lyrics

Walking through a life you'll find,

Embarking on a journey through life.

Its so easy to get hung up, these troubled times.

It's easy to be troubled during challenging times.

Its so hard to know what's right to do.

Difficulty in determining the right course of action.

Just go on walking through...

Despite challenges, continue moving forward.

Hold on to what you've been taught.

Uphold the values and lessons learned.

Now you're burned by all the lies that you once bought,

Feeling betrayed by previously accepted lies.

And all the demons they created you once fought.

Confronting inner demons created by falsehoods.

Has it all been for naught?

Questioning the value of past struggles.

And by now I've gotten used to the cold,

Adapted to enduring hardship without personal comforts.

Without a heavy coat to call my own.

Facing difficulties without necessary support.

And as we walk on through,

Continuing the journey, passing significant places.

Past the church and the school,

Observing institutions like the church and school.

In blue, or whatever you say

Reflection on life's hues or perspectives.

Well id like to be wrong,

Expressing a desire to be mistaken in one's assumptions.

But there aren't any jobs that would suit me anyways.

Realizing the lack of suitable employment opportunities.

So walking through a life like mine,

Navigating a life with its own challenges.

Well wear the crucifixications they've fixated to your mind.

Bearing the burdens imposed by society or others.

You find no matter what you do,

Regardless of actions, facing societal judgments.

They're gonna put that cross on you...

A reference to enduring the consequences symbolized by a cross.

And by now you've got used to the nails...

Adapting to and accepting hardships over time.
