The Love of God
Unveiling the Infinite Love: The Isaacs' Musical Ode to Divine GraceLyrics
The love of God is greater far
The love of God is incredibly vast and immense.
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It surpasses the ability of words or writing to fully express.
It goes beyond the highest star
This love transcends even the highest celestial bodies.
And reaches to the lowest hell
It extends to the depths of the most profound suffering.
The guilty pair, bowed down with care
Even those burdened with guilt and worry are considered.
God gave His Son to win
God sacrificed His Son to achieve redemption.
His erring child He reconciled
He reconciled with His erring children.
And pardoned from his sin
Granting pardon and forgiveness for their sins.
Could we with ink the ocean fill
Even if we could use ocean ink and parchment skies,
And were the skies of parchment made
And every stalk on earth were a writing tool,
Were every stalk on earth a quill
With everyone being a skilled writer,
And every man a scribe by trade
Describing God's love would still be insufficient.
To write the love of God above
To capture the love of God in writing would be impossible.
Would drain the ocean dry
Attempting to do so would exhaust the entire ocean.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Even an endless scroll couldn't contain the fullness.
Though stretched from sky to sky
Stretching from the highest heavens to the lowest depths.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
The love of God is incredibly rich, pure, and without measure.
How measureless and strong!
It is enduring and immensely powerful.
It shall forevermore endure
This love will last forever.
The saints' and angels' song
It is a theme sung by both saints and angels.
It shall forevermore endure
Emphasizing the eternal nature of God's love.
The saints' and angels' song
It will be a perpetual song among the heavenly beings.
