Like the empty cup they're pouring in

And "shit's boring" so they're bent like accordions
Expressing that people are bored and thus contorting themselves emotionally.
In fact their going mad and ornery
Describing how individuals are becoming angry and irritable, bordering on madness.
Push them to the back until their interacting orderly
Suggesting pushing these troubled individuals to the background until they behave in an orderly manner.
The black sheep puzzle piece fit among misfits
Feeling like an odd but fitting piece in a group of misfits.
Sink beneath abysses plea the fifth amid the mischief
Sinking into trouble or chaos but choosing to remain silent or plead the fifth.
I didn't say dismissed it's a brief intermission
Clarifying that the situation isn’t dismissed but rather paused temporarily.
So reap the benefits of bleeding fists and indecision
Suggesting that benefits can come from both physical pain (bleeding fists) and hesitation.
Finger prints or single bits of sentiment I'd dismiss it
Dismissing small traces of emotion or sentimentality.
In the trenches I couldn't lower my defenses
Being in a challenging situation where lowering defenses is not an option.
A sober mind was prison
Describing sobriety as a form of imprisonment.
I had to be the light beam enlightening a prism
Being a source of enlightenment or positivity amidst difficulties.
It's sublime and a privilege to thrive and exist in

It's a blessing if these other fools can keep their food ingested
Considering it fortunate if others can maintain basic functions during a difficult time.
When I stepped in, swerved and made a round about the salad dressing

Cupboards covered with a potent stench - fowl aggression

Pressed in every step and every second I could count my blessings

And I thought I'd be asleep around eleven
Expecting to sleep late due to distressing circumstances.
Depressing their development while living the fast life
Causing hindrance to others' progress while living a fast-paced life.
All hours of the night, howling like a bag pipe
Describing howling noises, possibly indicating distress.
Til' they crash like fragmented stalagmite
Continuing until a chaotic breakdown or collapse.
Or sediment of that kind blasted with a frag mine
Comparing oneself to unstable geological formations destroyed by explosives.
Another indecisive soul prone to the gas light
Referring to someone easily manipulated and misled.
Ignorance extended from a past life
Suggesting that ignorance stems from a past life.
In fact, they need acetaminophen to act right

Praying it's the last time
Hoping that a distressing situation won’t repeat.
