Someone else has destroyed the achievements made in life.
What will become of my legacy
Wondering about the fate of what the person has created or accomplished.
I don't know why I even bother
Expressing uncertainty about the purpose of trying.
Ending it all is the only answer to questions at hand
Considering suicide as the only solution to the problems.
The question of life and death to all answered at last
Seeing death as the ultimate answer to the fundamental questions of existence.
When they find me gone and they know my plan
Anticipating others discovering the plan to end life.
They'll forget that they hate me and try to understand why I ended it all by choice
Expecting others to reconsider their feelings after the person's death.
While they cry and mourn
While others grieve, finding peace after death.
I'll be peace at last
Longing for peace after a life filled with sorrow.
Pray for the end, this life always feeling sorrow in life
Hoping for an end to the constant sorrow experienced in life.
What I've experienced in this agonized depression
Describing the intense and prolonged state of emotional suffering.
Trying to understand and make the pain lessen
Attempting to comprehend and alleviate the pain experienced.
Receiving nothing from the love that you send
Feeling unresponsive to affection or care received from others.
I have found the only way to make the pain end
Believing that suicide is the only way to end the pain.
You want me to look inside my head
Resisting the idea of introspection when the outcome is already known (death).
But its far to late to see what's bothering me when you already know my fate
Rejecting the idea of exploring inner turmoil when the result (death) is certain.
Dwell on your own life if you value it so much
Encouraging others to focus on their own lives if they cherish it.
You don't believe in matters you don't understand
Disbelief in understanding things beyond one's comprehension.
