I guess we had to go back to the local prison to collect a few doors.

I remember these days very well because Theo wears the same oversized pinstripe suit and washes his dirty socks in the bathroom sink.

We have three jail doors now. Ana slept 15 hours and we made a tuna pasta to summon her. Last night we tried to be quiet at the jail but the gate kept slamming in the wind as we carried away two more jail doors. We steal saffron and a very big bottle of olive oil from the shop. We eat perfect baguettes every day and play chess.

This next one was about when I was a child,

So, you get downtown to the parking garage

She's a Volvo. A beautiful Volvo, and older model.

Air conditioning, you know leather seats,

the kind like dad used to have.

The kind that dad always wanted but dad could never afford, really.

I sat on my bed and turned myself toward the corner and made that the centre of my world. Then I turned myself inward and felt my heart beat. Japan, the ships, everybody Japanese, nobody talks to you and to be happy you go to sleep.
