Describing the moonlight over a small town.

And with each beam, same old dream

Associating the moonlight with a recurring dream.


At every stop that we made

Thinking about the person at every train stop.

But when I pulled down the shade

Feeling a sense of melancholy or sadness when closing the window shade.

Then I really felt blue,

Contemplating the journey back to the past.

And what did I do

Reflecting on his actions and decisions regarding the past.

Continuing to think about the person, possibly indicating unresolved feelings.
